LanguageCert Reveals Winners of the University and College Pathways Scholarship with Languages Canada

At the recent Languages Canada 17th Annual Conference in Vancouver, where LanguageCert proudly served as a Silver Sponsor, we were delighted to announce the recipients of the LanguageCert University and College Pathways Scholarship in partnership with Languages Canada. This award recognises the academic potential of international students pursuing higher education opportunities in Canada. In the first round of the scholarship program, two exceptional individuals were awarded CAD $1000 each to support their educational journeys.
Ting Jen Chueh from Taiwan emerged as one of the deserving recipients. Currently enrolled in a Pathway Program for English as a Second Language at the Canadian College of English Language (CCEF), Ting Jen Chueh will transition to a Social Media Marketing & Co-op diploma at Canadian College in April 2024. Ting expressed gratitude for the scholarship, emphasizing its significance in alleviating financial stress and enabling her to focus wholeheartedly on her academic pursuits.

   

‘I'm planning to use the scholarship for my living expenses in Vancouver. It will help me pay for food, clothing, transportation, and other things I need when I study at Canadian College. This scholarship will reduce the stress to find a part-time job quickly and help me focus on my Canadian College program’.

 

 

Ana Lucia Suarez Spelucin from Peru is another deserving recipient of the scholarship. Having completed her studies in English Language Foundations at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in October-December 2023, Ana Lucia will continue her educational journey at SAIT as a Business Administration student from May 2024. Ana Lucia highlighted the impact of the scholarship, stating it would help her cover college expenses and concentrate better on her studies without financial worries.

The LanguageCert University and College Pathways Scholarship, in partnership with Languages Canada, is aimed at international students who wish to enrol in English for Academic Purposes programs. This scholarship is actively promoted to thousands of students around the world. It offers less stringent requirements, making it much easier for eligible candidates to qualify.

It's worth noting that Languages Canada member schools can leverage the scholarship program at no cost to the institution to support and boost their international recruitment efforts.
