Paving the way to new beginnings

Language has the power to change lives for the better.

Discover the truly inspiring story of Jefferson Rakotomalala, a student from Madagascar who overcomes many obstacles before succeeding in pursuing his dream of attending college in the United States.  After completing his LanguageCert ESOL English test and winning the CCID (Community Colleges for International Development) International Student Scholarship sponsored by LanguageCert, he is accepted to Spokane Falls Community College’s Business Administration programme in Washington, which is, in his own words, “Just the beginning.”

We offer 19 scholarships created in partnership with the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), Community Colleges for International Development (CCID), and Languages Canada, aimed exclusively at international students who have passed our LanguageCert Academic and LanguageCert ESOL English tests.

These scholarships offer financial support to students around the world and help them gain access to community colleges or universities in North America and Canada.

How do I begin my journey?

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, students must:

  • apply to enrol with a partner institution
  • show English proficiency with the LanguageCert Academic or LanguageCert ESOL English tests. If you have already taken one of these tests, just add your results statement to your scholarship application.

Winners of the scholarships will be announced by the institutions
before the enrolment period.
